Wine At Tennesse Grocery Stores?
In Tennessee, the law prohibits the sale of wine in grocery stores.  In Kentucky, such laws have recently been ruled unconstitutional.  Lobbyists have been working hard to bring this about in our state for five years. Polls show Tennesseans overwhelmingly want the convenience of buying wine where they buy food.

Safeguard Against West Nile
As of Tuesday 26 West Nile virus deaths, have been reported to CDC, including 1 in TN. With West Nile on the rise, The Centers for Disease Control recommends using mosquito repellant, repairing window screens and emptying any standing water around the house including kiddie pools.

DOLLYWOOD SAYS WATER,SNOW PARK "A GO"
You may get to take the kids to a theme park here in Nashville after all.
First, Dolly Parton said the water and snow park was kind of "on hold..." but now officials with Dollywood and with Gaylord Entertainment say it's still "a go," and they're still committed to the project.

CHILD'S SNORING CAN LINK TO BAD BEHAVIOR
There may be something you can do to help your child wake up easier. Listen to them sleep. If your child snores, he may have a problem. Child specialists say snoring hurts the child's quality of sleep, and can not only make it harder for them to wake up and be alert, but  can lead to behavioral problems during the day, including hyperactivity.

Please make sure your doors at the house are locked, and be aware of what's around you as you walk to the car! There are two guys on the loose right now who forced their way into a Nashville home this morning, assaulted two women, stole some items and ran.

MOTHER ACCUSED IN HEAT-RELATED DEATHS  CHARGED
That woman in Smyrna who admits she put her two and three year old kids in the car, and they died in the heat, was officially charged yesterday. 25 year-old Samantha Harper admitted she left them there, went inside and fell asleep.

BE ON LOOKOUT FOR MAN WHO ATTEMPTED KIDNAPPING IN MURFREESBORO
With the school year starting back up, make sure you have 'the talk' with your kids about safety. Murfreesboro Police are looking for a man who allegedly tried to kidnap a 16 year old Tuesday night in Murfreesboro. She says he grabbed her by the hair and pulled her into a white van, but she managed to hit him and get away.

SUV REAR-ENDS SCHOOL BUS IN DONELSON
We're JUST back to school, and already we've had school-related traffic accidents, and kids hit. A Metro school bus was rear-ended in Donelson Monday morning. There were kids on board, but there's no word of any injuries except the driver who smashed into them.
