AFTER FIREWORKS, CALLERS FLOOD ANIMAL SHELTERS IN SEARCH OF MISSING PETS
If you know someone who lost a pet in the past few days, Judy Ladebauche, the Metro Animal Control director, says your dog or cat may have run away because of the fireworks. The 5TH of July is one of Animal Control's busiest days for people turning in lost pets. And before you post on Craigslist, remember there are scam artists out there, reading descriptions of dogs, then targeting the owners, asking for gas or reward money up front.
