POPE RESIGNS
The Pope is resigning. The 85-year-old Pope Benedict the 16th will step down on February 28th, because he says he's just not strong enough to do the job any longer. The Vatican expects a new Pope to be chosen by the end of March.

BLIZZARD HEADED TO NORTHEAST
Millions of people across the Northeast are bracing for a blizzard.  The National Weather Service is forecasting up to two-feet of snow and winds up to 60 miles an hour. Relief agencies like the REd Cross and Salvation Army are getting crews ready to help, as hundreds of thousands of people may be without power, in the freezing cold.. by tomorrow morning. The most severe weather is expected to hit Massachusetts this afternoon.

TORNADO NUMBERS KEEP RISING IN TN.
The tornado numbers just keep rising. The National Weather Service now says we had 14 tornadoes in Tennessee on January 30th, and the number may rise to 18 if more are confirmed like it's thought there will be. The 14 already confirmed tornadoes surpass the previous record of 12 touchdowns on January 24th of 1997

WINNING POWERBALL TICKET SOLD IN NASHVILLE

Lottery officials are waiting for the person holding a winning Million dollar Powerball lottery ticket to come forward and claim the cash. The ticket for Saturday night's drawing was sold in Nashville, though no word yet on exactly where. Wednesday's Powerball Jackpot is now up to 151-million.
