Williamson Co. Animal Control and the No-Kill Model
Mark Basenberg, Community Relations Coordinator for the Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center talks about the importance of getting involved with your local animal shelter, through volunteering time, or offering to foster an animal until a permanent home can be found. He also describes how Williamson County is making great strides in reducing the number of animals that have to be put down. Jim Sherrill with No-Kill Williamson County joins as well, to speak on how shelters can adopt a “no-kill” model, and promote pet adoption. To browse pets available for adoption, visit AdoptWCAC.org.
