FINAL DAY FOR EARLY VOTING
Todays the final day to vote early in Davidson county. If you vote today, you can vote at any polling place in the county, for the State and Federal General Election and the Belle Meade, Forest Hills and Goodlettsville Municipal Elections. Or you can wait till election day, Tuesday, November 4th, but you'll have to vote in your specific neighborhood polling place that's listed on your voter registration card. Or you can get the GoVoteTN app for your tablet or smartphone and get all the info you need.

JOB FAIR TODAY IN SPRING HILL
There's a job fair today in Spring Hill, 9 to 1, for 11 employers filling 200 positions in Maury and Williamson counties. The businesses looking to hire in clude Randstad, Toys R’ Us, Popeyes, Rainbow Child Care Center, Global Manufacturing Services, Lowe’s, Walmart and Verizon Wireless. The job fair is at the Goodwill Career CEnter on Nasdaq Street in Spring Hill. (goodwillcareersolutions.org.)

It looks like we need to stick to water. New studies have found too much milk, meaning three glasses a day, can increase a woman's chances of dying sooner. Has to do with the simple sugar in milk, and the inflammation it causes.

RECORD SET FOR WETTEST OCTOBER
We did set a record in October, for wettest October in Nashville's history. Nearly 8-and-a-half inches of rain in the past 30 days. We normally get about four. Last year, same time, only two inches.

GET HOME AND PETS READY FOR FROSTY WEATHER 
Hopefully you're getting ready for the freeze we have in the forecast this weekend: temperatures down near freezing tomorrow night and at freezing Saturday night. Things like disconnecting the water hoses from the house today, so they don't freeze and break your water pipes. And don't forget to put something together to keep your outdoor pets warm.

NASHVILLE ON 'TEN IN TENNESSEE' LIST
The entire city of Nashville is included on this year's "Ten in Tennessee" list.  It's an annual report by the Tennessee Preservation Trust that highlights endangered properties throughout the state that need to be saved because they're hisorically significant.  Nashville was included because of development threats to Studio A on Music Row and to Printer's Alley.

The San Francisco Giants are World Series champions! This makes the third time in five years for them.

So many of us are overweight these days, that the company that makes crash test dummies finally caught on and has built oversized crash test dummies to test car safety.

DRINKING AND PMS
A new study by the National Institutes of Health shows women seem to drink more when they're PMSing. Whaaat?  No, I mean, Whaaaat, they didn't know that, already?
Actually, the NIH says studies like this are needed, because most alcohol studies through the years have focused on men. That means alcohol abuse prevention and treatment wasn't developed with women's specific makeup in mind.

Speaking of the hooch: in several other countries, Fireball Cinnamon flavored Whiskey has been recalled because it has too much antifreeze in it. Ours has it in there, but just not as much. It's used as a mild sweetener, and in some items, like vaporizers and e-cigarettes as a preservative. Don't worry, it's not the same as the antifreeze in your car, but it's antifreeze, nonetheless. And, you can still drink Fireball Whiskey here in the U.S.

MISSING FOOTBALL FAN FOUND
A man who went missing from a Denver Broncos game last week says he'd just had his fill of football when he left the stadium.  Paul Kitterman says he just decided to go for a walk, left the game shortly after halftime, and walked for 110 miles, to Pueblo, Colorado, where he was seen five days later. 

LOWEST GAS PRICE
Gas prices are at their lowest in about four years. The national average is 3.02, though Nashville is below that.

That guy caught on someone's cellphone video, drunk, hitting and kicking someone at the Dallas Airport last Friday, shouting gay and racial slurs, was from Shelbyville, Tennessee.

BRENTWOOD COUPLE SUING OVER BABY'S NAME
And a couple in Brentwood, Tennessee are having to sue the state because the state won't let them use a combination of their last names for the baby's name... it would be Sabr (S-A-B-R). The ACLU has come onboard saying that's just ridiculous. It's not an offensive name and the state shouldn't be involved.

Each year Americans consume enough Brach's Candy Corn that if laid end-to-end, would circle the earth 4.25 times.

MAN CHARGED WITH HARASSING OWL WHILE RIDING PARAGLIDER 
Okay, so you got a gopro camera. And you have a motorized paraglider. So you get into the air and start filming an owl. Cool. What's not cool, is to chase and harass the animal. A guy in Utah is facing a year behind bars and a hundred thousand dollar fine for doing just that. Oh, he got caught because he  filmed it and posted it online.

OBAMA THANKS EBOLA WORKERS
President Obama is thanking Americans who are risking their lives to fight Ebola in West Africa... including U.S. military troops and healthcare workers... and he's saying the best way to protect US, here in America, from Ebola, is to stop the virus "in its tracks" in West Africa. 

HALLOWEEN WEEKEND BRINGS FIRST FREEZE OF THE SEASON

SCHOOL SHOOTER INVITED VICTIMS TO SIT AT TABLE WHERE THEY WERE SHOT
Washington state officials say the gunman in last Friday's school shooting set up his victims, and got them all lined up before he started shooting.
The Sheriff says Jaylen Fryberg texted his friends, and two cousins, invited them to come sit with him at the same table at lunch, and that's where they were when he shot them.

A 14-year-old girl wounded in Friday's shooting at Marysville Pilchuck High School north of Seattle has died. That makes two victims and the shooter, dead, three other kids still in the hospital.

EBOLA RESPONSE TEAM CALLED TO NEW YORK CITY
The newly formed federal Ebola response team gets tested out today in New York City.  Members of the unit are arriving there to treat Dr. Craig Spencer, who recently returned from treating Ebola patients in Guinea, and has now tested positive for the disease.

MISSING NASHVILLE BOY FOUND IN ATLANTA
First, an update on that missing eleven year old Nashville boy. He's been found safe, in downtown Atlanta. Nathan Long claims he got there on the Megabus, which is not supposed to let minors travel alone. So now there's an investigation about why they let an eleven year old travel, unaccompanied.
