The Goodwill Career Solutions center on Berry Road in Nashville will host a job fair from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Thursday, December 19 for Elwood Staffing. The company is looking to fill more than 200 positions in Davidson, Rutherford, Williamson and Wilson Counties. Openings include human resource data entry positions,, machine operators, janitors, and general warehouse positions.
YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION MAY HAVE BEEN BREACHED
There's been a major credit card breach at Target stores... Track data from at least a million cards is believed to have been stolen on Black Friday...through machines that customers use to swipe their cards when paying for merchandise at the stores. It wouldn't hurt to change your password. ESPECIALLY if you use the same password for several cards. Security experts say a rule of thumb is to treat your passwords like your underwear: change it often and don't show it to anyone.
POLICE INVESTIGATING AFTER MULTI-VEHICLE CRASH ON I-24 OVERNIGHT
Some weird behavior apparently led to a multiple car accident that sent three people to the hospital and shut down traffic for hours overnight on I-24. About 10:30 last night, witnesses on I-24 east near Briley Parkway say the driver of a red Nissan was weaving in and out of traffic before it suddenly came to a complete stop on the highway causing a three-car crash. Police are still investigating.
PHIL ROBERTSON BEING WRITTEN OUT OF DUCK DYNASTY
A&E is writing "Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson out of the reality show. The move follows Robertson's graphic anti-gay comments in an interview with "GQ" magazine. In a statement released Wednesday, the cable network said it was "extremely disappointed to have read" Robertson's comments in the magazine.

One of the two winners of that gigantic Mega Millions jackpot has stepped forward to claim her prize. Fifty-six year old Ira Curry from Stone Mountain, Georgia. The identity of the person who bought the winning ticket in San Jose, California has yet to be revealed.

A new report on government spying calls for new limits on surveillance by the National Security Agency, including more oversight and tighter regulation but not including an actual end to the eavesdropping. The administration views it as an important counterterrorism tool.
HEALTH: SALMONELLA OUTBREAK SPREADS
A nationwide outbreak of salmonella that's resistant to antibiotics is putting victims in the hospital at twice the rate expected. The outbreak that has sickened more than 389 people in 23 states over the past three months has been linked to Foster Farms brand chicken.
MAN DIES DURING PARACHUTE TRIP WOMAN WON ON 'ELLEN' SHOW
One wife's gift from Ellen DeGeneres has turned tragic. Cherilyn McGraw won a parachuting trip to Australia on DeGeneres' show back in January. McGraw and her Marine husband Brandon took the trip last week, and went up in a plane together for a jump on Saturday. Cherilyn chose to do a tandem jump, going with an instructor, but since Brandon was experienced ... he jumped alone, something happened to his chute and he was killed.

The Super Bowl may not be on Sunday this year! It's being held in an open-air stadium, and officials are already saying if the weather is too bad, the Superbowl could be moved to the following Monday, Tuesday or Saturday. Superbowl Saturday. I'll bet a lot of people could get onboard with that!
NEW RULES AIM TO CHANGE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE TREATMENT
Drug companies may not be happy about this, but there could be MILLIONS fewer people on blood pressure drugs if doctors follow a new guideline recommendation. The guidelines recommend that instead of using a standard blood pressure reading and trying to get everybody's pressure below that, even if it requires drugs, that people 60 or older might be able to handle higher blood pressure readings without health problems. (Hypertension can lead to heart attack, stroke, kidney failure and death. )

WOMAN PUTS IN JOB APPLICATION THEN STEALS MONEY FROM BUSINESS
Here's what not to do when you apply for a job. A Delaware woman fills out her app. at a Five Guys restaurant and, as she's leaving, reaches into the tip jar and steals the cash! All the restaurant manager had to do was watch the security camera, then look back at the woman's application, for her address and phone number. She was not hired.

Did you hear about the woman in Australia who was so engrossed in her smartphone -- updating her status or something -- that she walked straight off a pier, into the water? And she can't swim! Fortunately somebody fished her out. But at least she held onto her phone.
