BRENTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL POSTPONING ACT
If the threat found written on the bathroom wall at Brentwood High School was an effort to get out of taking the ACT test, nice try, but, "No." The school is postponing the ACT exam that was supposed to be given tomorrow (Saturday). The message found last Friday said several students and teachers would be killed on September 13th. Parents were told about the threat this week, and the new testing date will be September 20th.
JEWELRY ROBBER CAUGHT ON CAMERA
Some guy just walked into the Kmart in Goodletsville, on Long Hollow Pike, cut into the jewelry case, and walked out with 39 thousand dollars worth of jewelry. And this is the second time he's robbed the place. He's using a car tag that doesn't match the car he's driving, so it could be stolen, too. There's surveillance video and photos pulled from it, though they're not great quality. BRIDGE REPAIR TO CLOSE I-65 Next Week
There's more construction planned for that Peytonsville Road bridge that was destroyed recently by a tanker explosion, which means a portion of I-65 in Williamson County will be closed most of next week while crews remove the bridge.
STEWART WILL KNOW ABOUT CHARGES
Tony Stewart may soon know whether he will face criminal charges in the death of Kevin Ward, Junior. Evidence has been submitted to the District Attorney's Office for review, and a statement advising what action will be taken, is expected late next week. Ward Jr. was hit and killed by Stewart's car on August 9th at a dirt-track race in upstate New York.
TECH NEWS: HIGH DEMAND FOR NEW IPHONE CRASHES ONLINE APPLE STORE
Tech news: High demand for Apple's new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus crashed the online Apple Store. The new devices went on sale at midnight and people who logged on to the Apple Store say they ran into slow load times and long delays in the devices being available. Service started coming back after about a half-hour, but availability has been hit-and-miss.

Hewlett-Packard is paying more than 100-million dollars in fines after pleading guilty to international bribery. The technology giant admitted its foreign subsidiaries bribed government officials to land contracts in Mexico, Poland and Russia.
PISTORIUS GUILTY OF CULPABLE HOMICIDE
A judge has found South African Paralympian Oscar Pistorius guilty of culpable homicide...but not premeditated murder.... in the death of his girlfriend. Culpable homicide means that Pistorius was negligent in firing the shots through the door of his bathroom that killed Reeva Steenkamp last year. Pistorius claimed, all along, that he thought she was an intruder and feared for his life when he killed her.
TBI FINISHES SEARCH AT SITE OF HOLLY BOBO'S REMAINS
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says it's done with its search at the site where Holly Bobo's remains were found. They have NOT said what else they found there. Bobo's remains were found Sunday in rural Decatur County... about eleven-miles from the home of Zach Adams, one of the men charged with her kidnapping and murder.
UNPLANNED BIOPSY LED TO DEATH OF JOAN RIVERS
The New York Daily News is reporting that an unplanned biopsy is what led to Joan Rivers' death. The medical source said the clinic should have just done the routine surgery on her vocal cords, but then did a biopsy, which should have been done in hospital.

Some school workers in Michigan are probably having a little meeting today about school rules, after not one, but FOUR different people would not let an army officer into his child's school, because he was wearing a uniform... and he was told it might offend some students. School officials say there IS no such policy, someone was just confused about the rules, and they've apologized.
SAKS FIFTH AVENUE EMPLOYEES CHARGED WITH USING CUSTOMERS' CREDIT CARDS TO MAKE LUXE PURCHASES
OH. MY. GOSH. The latest ring of "alleged" credit card thieves has been rounded up, and it's employees of Saks Fifth Avenue, in New York. Six employees who were caught using customers' credit card numbers to make hundreds of purchases. One woman had hundreds of pairs of shoes, still in boxes, others were buying expensive items from Saks, then returning them, and having their money credited to their own credit cards.
CHILDREN AND ADULTS AT DAYCARE ACCIDENTALLY DRINK BLEACH MIXTURE
More than two dozen children and two adults were rushed to the hospital yesterday after they accidentally drank a mixture of bleach and water. A daycare worker thought she was pouring water, but then realized she'd used a bottle that had water and a little bleach in it. The ambulances were called, everybody was taken to the hospital .. and everybody was treated and sent home. They're okay, the daycare may not be... there's an investigation underway.

A Florida man just got arrested for marijuana posession, and he MIGHT have gotten away with it.
