DELAYS EXPECTED THIS WEEKEND ON I-65
There'll be delays this weekend on I-65. North of town, crews will be doing bridge repair near the Rivergate Mall in Goodlettsville. There'll be one lane closed there, northbound, and there'll be construction on I-65 in Williamson County between State Route 840 and the Goose Creek bypass. You'll wanna remember that if you're headed to the Williamson County Fair.. That starts tonight.

METRO TO AFFECTED RESIDENTS: STOP IRRIGATION NOW
If you're in the Green Hills area, or any of the area affected by the broken Metro water main, you are supposed to stop watering lawns, turn off sprinkler systems, and do it NOW. The water pressure was getting near normal, but people using their irrigation systems caused a huge drop in pressure... so the Mayor has issued a ban, and Metro Water Services crews are in the are, ready to help you turn it off if you don't know how.

TENNESSEE SALES TAX HOLIDAY THIS WEEKEND
There'll also be extra traffic on the roads this weekend as families stock up on back to school supplies. This is the final weekend before school in Metro... and... the Sales Tax Holiday is today through Sunday night at midnight. No sales tax on clothing and school supply items that are less than 100-dollars, and no sales tax on computers that cost 15-hundred-dollars or less.

FREE CUTS FOR KIDS
Kids are getting back to school. For families with a bunch of kids, that means a lot of school uniforms, doctor's visits, school supplies, and other expenses but there's one thing you can get for free, for back to school. Remington College is giving out free back-to-school haircuts again, all this month. You can make an appointment or just take your child in... Remington is on Donelson Pike. 615-493-9390. PUBLIC MEETING SET FOR JOHNNY CASH PROPERTY PLANS 
Not everyone is happy about plans to build a treatment center on the Hendersonville property once owned by Johnny and June Carter Cash ... so the Hendersonville Planning Commission is holding a public hearing September 2nd, so you can weigh in. The new owner says the former Cash home will stay empty, but buildings that will house patients will be constructed at both ends of the property.

MILEY CYRUS' BANGERZ RESCHEDULED DATES
Miley Cyrus was supposed to be in Nashville earlier this year, but got sick and had to reschedule. Now, she's doing those makeup dates. Her Nashville show is set for next Thursday at Bridgestone. 

IPAD SALES DOWN
What's going on here? For some reason, IPad sales are plummeting... and no one seems to know why.  Some analysts say speculating that the era of the tablet may already be coming to an end.

CELEB NEWS: CASSIDY MISSES COURT DATE
Here's what's trending in celebrity news;  1970s hunk David Cassidy had a court date this week for his drunk driving arrest last summer, but said he was unable to show. Prosecutors said Cassidy's attorney could represent him. During the court hearing, they get word that Cassidy could have come, after all. He was nearby... placing bets at a horse racing track nearby. Court officisla were disturbed. and a new court date is being scheduled and it's pretty sure bet he'll have to be there this time.

AMERICAN TOURISTS CALL POLICE FOR HIGH PRICE OF ICE CREAM
An American couple in Italy was so shocked that they were charged 56-dollars for three ice creams and water at a restaurant in Rome, that they called police! The Italian police showed up, showed the tourists that the prices were all clearly listed on the menu, and nothing illegal had taken place.

SINKHOLE AT LP FIELD
And now, crews are working on filling and repairing a SINKHOLE that opened up in the parking lot at LP Field. A cracked storm drain let water leak out, and eroded the dirt around it. The storm drain should be repaired by today, the sinkhole in the parking lot should be repaved by next week.

TITANS PLAY AUG 9TH
I know it's hard to believe it's that time, already, but Titans’ preseason play starts next weekend. They open at LP Field against the Green Bay Packers on August 9th.

SCHOOL ZONES
And don't forget the school ZONES! Speed limits are STRICTLY enforced. One police department in Mt. Juliet just tweeted this morning, a photo that said, Ofc Wentzell just stopped this SUV for traveling approx 60 in a 25 MPH school zone near WA Wright Elementary. Way too fast!" And there's a photo.

He said if Brazil lost, he'd climb a mountain in his underwear. He did. Climbed Snowdon Mountain. In a thong. Posted the video online. What makes that all good... he used it to raise money for cancer research.

Singer Alicia Keys is expecting her second child.

ALI GLOVES SELL FOR BIG MONEY
The gloves Muhammad Ali wore in his "Fight of the Century" with Joe Frazier are knockout winners on the auction block.  The three-time heavyweight champ's gloves sold for 388-thousand dollars at the National Sports Collectors Convention in Cleveland this week.

72-YEAR-OLD MAN ADMITS HE LEFT OBSCENE NOTE IN WOMAN'S CAR 
Remember that guy who broke into a woman's car to leave her an obscene note, asking her to have sex with him? Well police have him in custody. 72 year-old Morris Nickels, who confessed that he broke into the woman's car in the Smyrna Kroger parking lot, and left the message.

SEARCH CONTINUES FOR MISSING 16-YEAR-OLD
The search has been continuing for a 16-year-old girl who's been missing since Tuesday afternoon. Police have used a helicopter and search dogs to try and find Karla Hernandez-Santiago, but no luck so far.
