POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECT AND FOR MISSING GEORGIA COUPLE
Here's another story of a Craigslist meetup that seems to have gone bad. Police are searching for a Georgia couple who have been missing since Thursday after they went to buy a car from someone they contacted through Craigslist. 69-year-old Elrey "Bud" and 66-year-old June Runion were last seen leaving to meet the car seller, and haven't been heard from since. Police have a suspect in the case, and have issued arrest warrants for Ronnie Jay Towns. Buyers, and sellers, are encouraged to meet in the daytime and in a public place, and to take someone with them. In the case of the Runions, they seemed to have done everything right.
