EAT THOSE BOILED EGGS SOON!
A lot of people are eating leftovers today: ham and rolls, and dishes made with boiled eggs. Health experts say if you still have boiled eggs left over, make sure you eat them within 7 days. And, hopefully you popped those into the fridge right after they were all found, because hard-boiled eggs spoil faster than fresh ones. Boiling removes the waxy, protective layer that fresh eggs have. If they're still left over by next Sunday, toss them out.

MADISON, TENNESSEE MAN IN WHEELCHAIR KILLED WHILE CROSSING GALLATIN ROAD
A Madison, Tennessee man was killed just before 10 Saturday night as he tried to cross Gallatin Pike in his motorized wheelchair. Robert Connor's family says he WAS in the crossing lane, but the light had changed, and he hadn't made it completely across when he was hit in the dark, by an oncoming van.  In September, another person in a wheelchair was hit and killed at the same intersection. Apparently it's very near a drugstore and near a facility that houses a lot of older people who use wheelchairs. The Director of The Center for Independent Living of Middle Tennessee says maybe the bigger question is making Nashville streets safer for EVERYone, who'll use them, not just motorists.

Here's something you'll wanna do a little research on before you need it.
A new study finds Hospital emergency departments are still prescribing drugs with codeine for children, in spite of concerns about the safety of doing so. One in three kids reportedly don't get any benefit from the drug as far as pain relief or reducing the severity of coughs, and there's growing evidence that for some children, codeine could be fatal. The study is out today, online, in the journal "Pediatrics."
