WATER MAIN BREAK AFFECTS 15-THOUSAND PEOPLE IN METRO
There's a huge water main break in Nashville that has more than 15-thousand people in Nashville without water, or with very low water pressure, and it's going to be awhile before it gets fixed. Until water is restored, people in the affected area who still have water, are asked to use it only when they have to, for drinking, cooking and bathing.
If you know someone in the affected area, especially if it's an older person, you're asked to check on them, take them water if they need it, or call the Metro Office of Emergency Management if they can't get out and need some help. that number is 862-8750. (not 311) for assistance.

UCLA WATER BREAK
Cleanup crews are still working after the water break on the UCLA campus, and say the cleanup will take at least the weekend.

NEWS2 METEOROLOGIST SAYS POSSIBLE COLDER WINTER 
Well, that's it for July. And as we enjoy the below-average unseasonably cool weather for this time of year, our News 2 meteorologist, Justin Bruce, says the last time we had record summer weather patterns like we're having now, it led to a record cold winter, with numerous snowfalls. 

EXTREME WEATHER KILLS 2,000 AMERICANS EACH YEAR
Extreme weather kills at least two-thousand Americans each year. The CDC says most of those deaths are from severe heat or cold, floods or lighting. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also says they think that heat-related deaths are under reported, since heat tends to kill people who already have health conditions like heart disease or respiratory illness, which is usually listed as the cause of death.

"SHARKNADO 2" CONTINUES THE CONVERSATION ON SOCIAL MEDIA 
Thank goodness Twitter didn't break last night over Sharnkado Two: The Second One. What would we be doing with our thumbs today if we couldn't tweet? Where would we look, if not at our phones!?
Sharknado has just become our, "we're-not-even-gonna-feel-guilty-about-it-pleasure" of the summer. It is just so cheesy-bad it makes you laugh out loud. There were a lot of cameo appearances, and if you missed it, it will air again.

We're hearing that the problems between Jay-Z and Beyonce have to do with an affair that Jay-Z had... with Rihanna.

Rico Rodriguez, who plays Manny on "Modern Family" turns sweet 16 today. 

It's Zac Brown's 36th birthday, and Superman Dean Cain is 48 today.

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling turns 49 today, so she also made that Harry Potter's Birthday.

Drew Barrymore's half sister has been found dead. Apparently she committed suicide. Drew says she only met Jessica briefly, and is sending condolences to Jessica's loved ones.

Brian Williams made an announcement on the NBC Nightly news last night, that actress Allison Williams, the star of HBO'S "Girls," has gotten the lead role in NBC's upcoming Peter Pan, LIVE. He didn't mention that Allison is his daughter, but did post a photo of Allison when she was three-years-old, dressed as Peter Pan, and said, "Allison's family members confirm she's been rehearsing for this role since the age of three..."

AUSTRALIAN AIRLINE APOLOGIZING FOR FLIGHT ATTENDANT STATEMENT
And in Australia, Jetstar airlines is apologizing and saying, 'That's not our official stance," after a crew member told passengers coming back from a place notorious for drug sales that it was, "time to flush anything you shouldn't have." The warning prompted a RUSH to the plane's restrooms.

CHEF COOKS WITH MOLTEN LAVA
Guess what your husband is gonna want, as soon as he sees it. A new grill that's in the works, that gets so hot it creates molten lave to cook your meat. It uses 2,700 degree melted liquid. It's supposed to make the meats delicious, because it sears them and has NO smoke.

FITNESS WRISTBAND SHOCKS YOU IF YOU DON'T REACH EXERCISE GOALS
Need that extra motivation to get in shape? There's a new fitness wristband coming out next year that'll notify you if you miss a workout, by delivering an electric shock to your arm. The wristband creator says, "Hey, Sometimes Crazy works!" The wrist zapper comes out next year, costs about 150 bucks.

72-YEAR-OLD MAN ADMITS HE LEFT OBSCENE NOTE IN WOMAN'S CAR 
Remember that guy who broke into a woman's car to leave her an obscene note, asking her to have sex with him? Well police have him in custody. 72 year-old Morris Nickels, who confessed that he broke into the woman's car in the Smyrna Kroger parking lot, and left the message.

SEARCH CONTINUES FOR MISSING 16-YEAR-OLD
The search has been continuing for a 16-year-old girl who's been missing since Tuesday afternoon. Police have used a helicopter and search dogs to try and find Karla Hernandez-Santiago, but no luck so far.
