FREE SOBER RIDES HOME
The Davidson County Sheriff's Office is offering free sober rides home tonight, 10pm to 2am. Pick-up locations are at 2nd and Broadway, Demonbreun near the roundabout, Five Points in east Nashville and Division Street in Midtown.
MISSING AIRLINER MAY HAVE BEEN HIJACKED
Malaysian officials are now admitting that the missing Malaysian passenger jet may have been hijacked. The Prime Minister now says it's clear that the communications system was deliberately disabled, and the plane was deliberately diverted. The investigation is now focusing on the flight crew, including the pilot, whose wife and family moved out of the family home the day before the plane went missing, and who was reportedly a fanatical supporter of the country's opposition leader.
FBI HASN’T RULED OUT PLANE LANDING
FBI investigators say the disappearance of MH370 may have been 'an act of piracy' and they haven't ruled out the possibility that hundreds of passengers are being held at an unknown location.

ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADES RANGE FROM MASSIVE, TO MINUTE
Millions of Irish-Americans and the Irish-at-heart are celebrating St. Patrick's Day. Parades range from the nation's oldest in New York City, with over a MILLION parade-watchers expected to line the streets, to the world's shortest parade, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The parade route there runs 98 feet.
METRO SCHOOLS IN CLASS TODAY, SNOW DAY MAKEUP
Metro students are in class today, making up a snow day. This was supposed to be a teacher planning day, but that's been moved to tomorrow. There'll also be a lot of 11th graders taking the ACT test tomorrow, so hopefully they don't celebrate St. Patty's day too late into the night.
HEALTH: MAYO CLINIC SAYS BEER BELLY OR APPLE SHAPE CAN SHORTEN LIFE
Grab that tape measure when you get home. Of all the things doctors say are bad for us, there's one thing that's easy to check, but can be deadly if we let it get out of hand: the size of our waists. Yet another study, this one from the Mayo Clinic, finds men with waist sizes larger than 43 inches have a 50% higher risk of dying early, and women, 37 inches is our limit. Larger than that and we have an 80% higher chance of early death. That's 43 inches for men's waists, 37 for women.
WESTBORO LEADER IN HOSPICE
The leader of the Westboro Baptist Church, a notoriously anti-gay group in Kansas, is reportedly near death. Pastor Fred Phelps' estranged son claims his father is in hospice care.
COMEDIAN DAVID BRENNER DIES
And Comedian David Brenner has passed away. He was of the older generation of comics.... appearing on Johnny Carson's "The Tonight Show" 158 times. Brenner was 78, and reportedly died from cancer.
GOVERNOR TO SIGN WINE IN GROCERY STORES BILL THIS WEEK
Governor Bill Haslam is expected to sign the wine-in-grocery stores bill this week. Voters will then decide in November by referendum whether we want wine sold in supermarkets and convenience stores.
