STORM DAMAGE
Those storms that rolled through last night may not have done a lot of damage at your place, but they messed up some people's lives in Monroe County, Tennessee. A possible tornado hit there last night, and TEMA declared a state of emergency. And At least seven counties in Mississippi and four more in Alabama have damage.

MURFREESBORO BAND TEACHER ARRESTED FOR SEX CRIMES
A Murfreesboro City Schools teacher is facing charges for sex crimes against minors. Police arrested Lavar Jernigan yesterday. He taught band at three Murfreesboro schools.

WORK STRESS LEADS TO EARLY AGING ?
Okay, here's a story that could explain why every president comes out of his term at the White House looking about 20 years older: a study has found a link between work-related stress and early aging. Excessive workplace stress actually damages your DNA, and researchers think that makes your body go through all the effects of aging, including wrinkles, grey hair and physical decline. 

GET OUTSIDE TO HAVE MORE ENERGY
If you are feeling stressed and worn out, there's more new research that says you should try spending at least 20 minutes a day outside. Scientists say it'll give you 20% more physical AND mental energy. And if you can't get outside, at least take a break and look out the window for a few minutes, and it'll help you recharge and feel more positive. (Men's Health)

This story's gonna break your heart, but you'll probably want to mention it to your kids.
A 22 year old Colorado college student was texting and driving when he ran his car off the road and died. His parents have released a photo of his half-finished text. It's mundane, it's not anything urgent, and he died for it. Alexander Height's last text was, "Sounds good my man, seeya soon, ill tw..." That's it. His mom released the photo of the fatal text to keep someone else from losing a child that way. She said, "Please, vow to never, never text and drive. In a split second you could ruin your future, injure or kill others, and tear a hole in the heart of everyone who loves you."   Please feel free to share this story with someone you love.

Well, then you need to know that Bikini's Bar and Grill in Texas, where the waittresses serve food in bikini bathing suits, has trademarked the name "Breastaurant." Try to use that in a sentence today, okay?

DEPARTMENT STORE SELLING "URINE" SHOES
Target has apparently been selling URINE shoes. No, the shoes haven't been 'exposed' to anything. The store is currently selling at least four pairs of shoes entitled “orina,” which in Spanish means urine. And Target's not alone. Many other popular brands sell an “orina” shoe.
The store became aware of the word's Spanish translation about a week ago, according to Jessica DeeDe, a spokesperson for Target. "Realizing this name could be misinterpreted, we are taking steps to remove the name from the sandal," DeeDe told The Huffington Post.

First lady Michelle Obama is coming to Nashville next month. She's going to give the commencement address at the Martin Luther King Jr. School's graduation ceremony in May. It will NOT be open to the public.

SCIENTISTS LAUNCH POLIO ERADICATION EFFORT
More than 400 scientists from 80 countries are looking for a global end to polio. They've launched the Scientific Declaration on Polio Eradication, and are asking governments, international organizations and individuals to fund the five-and-a-half-billion-dollar effort to end Polio by next year. CANDLE STARTS FIRE AT NORTH NASHVILLE HOUSE
There's a family recovering from a fire at their home in north Nashville, that started from a candle in the bathroom, and spread to their attic. The two adults and four children managed to get out. 

MBORO MAN ATTACKS WOMAN HE MET ON DATING WEBSITE
Metro Sex Crimes detectives are trying to find out whether a Murfreesboro man sexually assaulted more than one woman he met online. 26 year old MTSU student Peter Cothran is charged with sexual battery of a woman he met on a dating website, and police say if you've gone out with Cothran and had any problems, they want to hear from you.

U.S. AIRWAYS UNDER INVESTIGATION
The Department of Transportation said Thursday that it’s investigating 34 flights from Charlotte Douglas International Airport that were delayed and kept passengers stuck for more than three hours on the tarmac during a snowstorm in February.
All of the flights were operated by US Airways or US Airways Express. Federal rules prohibit airlines from holding passengers on the tarmac for more than three hours during delays, except for safety, security or air traffic control reasons.   US Airways spokeswoman Michelle Mohr said the company is conducting its own internal investigation into the circumstances, and is also working with the DOT. She said the internal investigation’s results aren’t available yet.

18 YEAR OLD EATS NOTHING BUT RAMEN NOODLES, HAS HEALTH OF 80 YEAR-OLD
Next time your 5 year old doesn't want to eat his vegetables, here's a little motivation to keep you strong. There's an 18 year-old girl in the United Kingdom who's eaten nothing but Ramen-style noodles for the past 13 years (since she was 5). Doctors now say she has the health of an 80 year-old. Her mom is still buying the noodles for her, dozens of packages at a time.

MAN CATCHES TUNA, NEARLY CATCHES SHARK
And have you seen that guy in Hawaii who was fishing in a kayak, and caught a tuna. He was reeling in the fish, when a shark jumped out of the water, and tried to steal the tuna. The guy is clearly startled, and starts reeling in his fish faster. His reaction and the look on his face is priceless. See it HERE

KID HELPS TIP OFF POLICE TO HIS DAD'S ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES
Thirty-four-year-old Robert Burton  has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for running a prostitution ring. Part of the evidence against ole Robert came from his own 7 year-old son. When Burton was pulled over by police in Miami, they asked the little boy if he knew who the two women in the car were, and the kid earnestly answered, "Yes. Those are my daddy's hoes."  (WFTV News)

THREE PREDATORS PLAYERS OUT FOR SURGERY
The season is over for three Predators.  The team announced Thursday Colin Wilson, Paul Gaustad and Gabriel Bourque all have injuries that need to be surgically repaired.  Wilson and Gaustad have shoulder injuries, while Bourque needs surgery on his knee.
