WHITNEY HOUSTON DEATH MAY BE MYSTERY FOR WEEKS
There are more questions than answers this morning about Whitney Houston's sudden death. Coroners completed the autopsy but say it could be six weeks before toxicology results are in. She was reportedly found, her head underwater, in her tub, and paramedics performed CPR but couldn't revive her. She was in her suite at the Beverly Hilton, where she was supposed to attend a pre-Grammy Awards party later that night. She was just 48 years old, and leaves behind an 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina. Her ex,Bobby Brown, was supposed to be in a concert last night with New Edition here in Nashville, but as soon as his bus got here, he got off the bus and hopped a plane to Los Angeles to be with his daughter.
Bobbi Kristina, was rushed to the hospital later, reportedly "hysterical, exhausted and inconsolable." She was later released, and is expected to head back to New Jersey to the home of her grandmother, gospel singer Cissy Houston.
Remembrances are coming in from around the world about the death of Whitney Houston. In a statement, Nelson Mandela extended his condolences to Houston's family and friends, and recalled how she dedicated her performance of "Greatest Love Of All" to him during a White House dinner in his honor in October 1994.
