BIG WEATHER CHANGES IN NEXT 24 HOURS
Just so you can't say you weren't ready, although we had temperatures in the 70s this weekend, we have a freeze watch and a wind advisory in effect for Middle Tennessee, with overnight lows around 37 tonight and lows at or near freezing tomorrow night. That means early gardeners will be pulling the sheets off the bed and throwing them on the azaleas. Today, rain, wind and thunderstorms, maybe some flooding. Wind advisories mean possible gusts up to 57 miles an hour.

MISSING PLANE SEARCH SWITCHES GEARS
The search for that missing Malaysian airliner is entering a new phase. Now that the pings from the missing black box have apparently stopped, an unmanned vehicle will start combing the floor of the Indian Ocean... looking for where those pings came from. 

EASTER WEEK
Easter Week is underway. At the White House, President Obama will host the annual Easter Prayer breakfast this morning. Your friends who observe Jewish traditions celebrate passover starting tonight at sundown.

MASTERS WINNER
Bubba! Bubba Watson has won the Masters Golf Tournament, so he gets that green jacket for the second time in three years.

PROM SEASON, NEW CORSAGE..
If you haven't seen prom pictures all over social media, you just must not have looked lately. It's prom season. Lots of parents and kids spending all kinds of cash for the big night. There's even a push by a fast food restaurant to have teenagers buy a CHICKEN corsage. KFC says, 'chicken not included,' but the corsage DOES include baby's breath, and a gift card for some fried chicken. It'll cost you 20 bucks.

THUNDERSTORMS TODAY, FREEZE TOMORROW
Today, you're getting dressed for rain. But, tomorrow, you'll need your winter coat and gloves. Middle Tennessee is under a freeze watch and a wind advisory for the next couple of days with overnight lows tomorrow night at or near freezing.

CANCER SOCIETY URGENTLY NEEDS VOLUNTEERS TO DRIVE CANCER PATIENTS
The American Cancer Society has issued an urgent plea for people to volunteer to drive cancer patients to and fron treatment. They say they especially need drivers in Antioch, Bellevue, East Nashville, north of town, and all over Rutherford and Wilson County.

THREE KILLED AT KANSAS JEWISH FACILITIES, GUNMAN IDENTIFIED AS FORMER "KLAN" LEADER
The suspected gunman accused of killing three people at two Jewish facilities yesterday in Kansas is reportedly a former Ku Klux Klan leader, identified as 73-year-old Frazier Cross, Junior.

OBAMA SENDS CONDOLENCES TO SHOOTING VICTIMS' FAMILIES
President Obama is extending condolences to the families of three people killed in shootings yesterday in Overland Park, Kansas.  Police say a man in his 70s killed two people at a Jewish Community Center and then another at a Jewish assisted living facility.  The suspect has been identified as a former Ku Klux Klan leader. 

HEALTH: ALCOHOL AWARENESS MONTH
This is alcohol awareness month, and the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence says it'd like to see everyone abstain from drinking for at least three days this month. Believe it or not, that's a long stretch for some people. People who drink have a higher risk for disease and early death, drinking can cause some cancers, thousands are killed or injured each year because of impaired driving, more than 17-hundred college students here in the U.S. are killed in booze-related incidents and women of pregnancy age should not drink alcohol, since it could harm the unborn child.  

BOSTON MARATHON
The Boston Marathon is a week away. City workers are busy bannering up the place, city officials are expected to announce new rules for bystanders, after last year's bombing at the event... and security will be tighter. More than 35-hundred uniformed and undercover police officers will line the route, and they've installed more than 100 cameras around the finish line and the Back Bay. 

SAN FRAN LINEBACKER IN TROUBLE
San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith has been arrested for saying he had a bomb when he was going through screening at the Los Angeles International Airport. 

OPEN CARRY HANDGUN BILL VOTE IN PROGRESS
Lawmakers could be within just a few votes of letting Tennesseans carry a gun in the open without a permit. The proposal passed the state Senate last week, and its House sponsor is trying to quickly get it in front of House members for a vote. Even if they pass it, the governor could still veto it.

PENNSYLVANIA TEEN STABS CLASSMATES
That Pennsylvania teenager accused of stabbing his high school classmates was apparently being bullied online. Another student took a screenshot of someone calling the suspect a name, and turned it into police the day he allegedly stabbed more than 20 people at Franklin Regional High School. 

YOUNG FATHERS ARE AT RISK FOR DEPRESSION
We've known for some years now that some new fathers have depression, but new research finds it's even more than we thought. Nearly as many fathers as new moms... 10 to 15 percent of moms, 5 to 10 percent of dads...  are at risk of depression after the birth of a baby. Information that, hopefully, doctors can use to ask about EVERYBODY'S health in a family with a new baby.

CHOLESTEROL SCREENING RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN
Next time you make a doctor's appointment for your child, your doctor may recommend you have the kid fast the night  before and get a cholesterol check. The American Academy of Pediatrics says more kids have high cholesterol these days, because more are overweight and obese, so they're recommending a cholesterol check for kids between 9 and 11 years old, and another when they hit 17. Doctors say catching the higher cholesterol in children can help parents and kids make changes before serious damage is done, or before heart health becomes a major issue. 

WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS RESIDENTS MAY START DRINKING RECYCLED WASTE WATER
Wichita Falls, in North Texas, has been experiencing a drought. For three years. So they're expected to start using recycled waste water next month.

MTV AWARDS BIG WINNER
"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is hot with the MTV crowd. At last night's MTV Movie Awards, the latest Hunger Games movie won three popcorn trophies...  for Movie of the Year, Best Female Performance for Jennifer Lawrence, and Best Male Performance for Josh Hutcherson. 

WORLD'S OLDEST BARMAID CELEBRATING 100TH BIRTHDAY
Dolly Saville is celebrating her 100th birthday soon, and she's still working. Guess what she does? Dolly is a barmaid. The world's oldest. She's been working at the same place in England for the past 74 years and says she has no plans to retire. She reckons she's poured some two million drinks since she started in 1940, and has even served a few famous faces like Pierce Brosnan and Elizabeth Taylor.
