THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION NOW RECOMMENDS HANDS-ONLY CPR: HERE'S VIDEO EXAMPLE
The American Heart Association says after years of telling people how to do CPR, now that they've changed the recommended method to HANDS-ONLY -- chest compressions only -- with NO mouth-to-mouth, it's taking awhile for people to catch on. There's a short, humorous video going around that demonstrates the TWO steps for CPR: call 9-1-1, and use FAST chest compressions to the beat of "Stayin' Alive." ALEX TREBEK SUFFERS MILD HEART ATTACK
Jeopardy host Alex Trebek had a mild heart attack on Saturday, but doctors say the 71 year-old will make a full recovery and be back on the game show next month. This new season will be the show's 29th. Jeopardy won an Emmy over the weekend.
NIGHT SHIFT MAY INCREASE BREAST CANCER RISK
A new study shows that working a night shift may increase your risk of breast cancer. Researchers say the risk was 30 percent higher in women who had worked nights... ever... and especially increased in the women who'd worked nights for more than four years. The risk increase had to do with how the shifts disturbed the women's circadian rhythms... or body clocks.
STORM DEBBY HITS FLORIDA WITH TORNADOS, MORE RAIN
Tropical Storm Debby is still churning in the Gulf of Mexico ... and is already blamed for one death... from tornadoes that hit yesterday in Florida. Debby is expected to dump ten to 15 inches more rain over Florida, and more tornadoes are possible today.
And the most destructive wildfire in Colorado history keeps turning homes into ashes. The High Park Fire near Fort Collins has destroyed at least 248 homes. The Waldo Canyon fire has grown to more than 25-hundred acres and forced thousands of people in the Colorado Springs area to evacuate.
SANDUSKY ON SUICIDE WATCH AFTER CONVICTION
Jerry Sandusky has been placed on suicide watch, after he was convicted Friday of sexually abusing 10 boys over 15 years
It was not clear if Sandusky prompted the watch or if it's standard procedure. The former defensive coach for Penn State football will appeal his verdict when he's sentenced in 90 days or so. His crimes carry a minimum 60-year sentence and a maximum 442 year sentence.
SPRING HILL POLICE LOOKING FOR SUSPECTED RAPIST
Spring Hill Police are on the lookout for a suspected rapist who they believe is still in the area. Maury County officials say Christopher Headrick was indicted earlier this month on two counts of aggravated statutory rape, but he's fled. Headrick may be driving a 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with the Tennessee license plate number DVB-593.
POWER OUTAGE PLAGUES 5,000 WATERTOWN RESIDENTS
On one of the hottest days of the year, here in Tennessee, more than 5,000 people in Wilson county were without electricity yesterday. Six hours in the heat in the Watertown area and for several hours along Sparta Pike. By 4 yesterday afternoon, the power was back on.

BELLEVUE MAN KICKED OUT OF CONCERT FOR IMPERSONATING CHESNEY
Almost 50,000 people were in Nashville for the Brothers of the Sun Tour this weekend, featuring Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney. There was one little situation, however: a Bellevue man who was kicked out for causing a disturbance. Nathan Blankenship looks very much like Kenny, and was dressed exactly like the singer, and signing autographs. Blankenship said he wasn't trying to impersonate Chesney. He claims some people just mistake him for the singer.
WOMAN FOUND SHOT IN ROADWAY IN COLUMBIA
Police are investigating after a 28-year-old woman was found shot and lying in a road in Columbia early yesterday morning.They're now looking for witnesses.
