FIRES IN WESTERN UNITED STATES
Hot temperatures plus high winds are making it difficult for fire crews to gain the upper hand on wildfires throughout the Western United States. The most devastating is still the Black Forest Fire in Colorado.
In Arizona, a wildfire burning about 100 miles north of Phoenix grew to five-thousand acres in just a matter of hours yesterday.

AFGHAN TROOPS IN CHARGE OF SECURITY FOR THEIR OWN COUNTRY
Afghan troops are now in charge of security across their own country.  NATO-led forces have now turned over control for the last 95 districts in Afghanistan...  where troops from the U.S. and other countries had been in charge since 2001. They started turning over security control three years ago.

TITANS TO ANNOUNCE THIS WEEK HOW IT’LL HANDLE NEW BAG RULES AT GAMES
The Titans will announce this week how they’ll handle new rules about size limits on bags permitted at football games.
The National Football League came up with the new rules after the Boston Marathon bombings.
