THREE-YEAR-OLD KILLED IN CAR CRASH IN NASHVILLE
A car crash that killed a three-year-old is under investigation. Dolores Garcia was driving eastbound on Bull Run Road Monday afternoon near the Cheatham County line in western Davidson County, when she lost control on a curve and slammed into a utility pole. Vanessa Leon died in the crash. The child was buckled into a safety seat, which somehow came dislodged and hit the back of the driver's seat. Investigators think Garcia's speed may have played a role in the crash.
BRENTWOOD NEIGHBORHOODS GIVEN ALL CLEAR TO DRINK WATER
The water in Brentwood is once again safe to drink. Over the weekend, people living in the Fountainbrook and Willowmet subdivisions were told not to drink the tap water, after samples came back positive for coliform, a possible indicator that there may be bacteria present. Lines were flushed and test results yesterday showed it's clean.
HEAVY TRAFFIC EXPECTED FOR ONE DIRECTION CONCERT
One Direction invades Nashville tonight and it is expected to be BUSY near LP Field for the concert! More than 50-thousand people are expected at the show. Parking lots at the football stadium will open at 3 p.m. and once they're full, drivers will be directed downtown to find a place to park. And, remember, backpacks and large purses are not allowed inside LP Field.

There's been more violence in Ferguson, Missouri. At least two people were shot and more than 30 were arrested overnight in rioting over the police shooting of an unarmed man a week ago. The President is calling for calm and healing, and is sending the Attorney General to Ferguson to assess the situation.
CALIF SCHOOL SHOOTING STOPPED
Police in South Pasadena, California say they've uncovered a plot for a mass shooting at a high school and have arrested two teenagers. The two were allegedly planning to kill three staff members at the school and as many students as possible. Administrators tipped off police.
FRANKLIN-BASED HOSPITAL OPERATOR TARGETED BY HACKERS
Franklin-based Community Health Systems is notifying more than four-thousand of its patients that their personal information has been compromised. The company says a group in China used sophisticated malware and technology to bypass security systems, and were able to take patient names, addresses, birthdates and social security numbers. Victims are being notified and offered identity theft protection services.

REESE WITHERSPOON BUYS NASHVILLE HOME
Actress Reese Witherspoon and her hubby have bought a house in Nashville. It's on Curtiswood Lane, just down the road from the Governor's Mansion. The two-million-dollar, 28-hundred square foot house comes with six acres of land, has a separate guest house (that's probably the size of most of our regular homes, lol) and a swimming pool. SOUTH NASHVILLE TO PLAY IN CONSOLATION GAME TUESDAY
South Nashville is out of the Little League World Series. They lost Saturday to Rhode Island 8-to-7, but will play tomorrow in a consolation game against Vancouver. This was South Nashville's second consecutive trip to the Little League World Series.

Longtime TV announcer, voice guy, Don Pardo has passed away. Most of us knew him from doing the intro to Saturday Night Live, as long as we can remember. Don Pardo was 96.
