HIT AND RUN DEATH
A 13-year-old was killed and his mother was injured in a hit-and-run collision yesterday afternoon on I-24 in Smyrna. The suspected driver, identified as 33-year-old Tina L. Wilson, kept driving after hitting the family's vehicle while they were changing a tire. Wilson was found in Davidson County and taken into custody. She faces charges of leaving the scene of a fatal crash and failure to report a fatal crash, probably more later.
