Teacher Appreciation

Congratulations to our winning teachers! 
 

- APRIL:  Mrs. Boggs of New Song Christian Academy (nominated by Ashley Davis). Mrs. Boggs has a real heart for her students and a desire to help them learn. 
- MARCH:  Ms. Courtney Campbell of Lighthouse Christian School (nominated by Audrey Bowles). Ms. Campbell is a warm, loving and caring teacher that continues to be a blessing to her students and their parents.
- FEBRUARY:  Ms. Charlotte Balturshot of Guild Elementary School (nominated by Kim Yoakem). Ms. Balturshot a true leader, building on more than just a foundtaion of education in order to ensure future success. She's also created a strong desire in her students to learn and truly cares for each one of them.
- JANUARY:  Ms. Lori Lyons of Merrol Hyde Magnet School (nominated by Kerri Collins). Ms. Lyons is a committed teacher focused on the success of her students. Meanwhile, she greatly recognizes the importance of her students time at home with their families and seeks to make it a priority in her teaching.
- DECEMBER:  Mrs. Kamiliah Payne-Matthews or WA Bass Middle School (nominated by Darica Christmon).  Mrs. Payne-Matthews is a true teacher by heart, not just by trade and exhibits all the right qualities of a great and compassionate teacher.
- NOVEMBER:  Coach Dustin Wilson of Coopertown Middle School (nominated by Alisha McNeil).  His caring personality can be seen in his incredible committment to his kids on and off the field and in the classroom.
- SEPTEMBER: Mrs. Erin Bratcher of Barfield Elementary in Murfreesboro (nominated by Rhonda Craig).  Mrs. Bratcher's energy and creativity is a difference-maker in the lives of her students.
- OCTOBER: Mrs. Nancy Jackson of Oakland High School (nominated by Kelsey Vaughn).  Mrs. Jackson's caring heart and dedication to is a real gift to her students.

Now, Mix 92.9 & Bethel University invite you to join us in celebrating teachers. Help us show gratitude to the dedicated women & men who educate and inspire.
 
Show your appreciation for a teacher who you believe deserves special recognition.
 
Each month, the Mix 92.9 team will select a teacher who will receive our Teacher Appreciation Prize Pack.  At the end of the school year, one of our monthly award recipients, and their nominator, will be randomly selected to each win a relaxing weekend getaway for two to Music Road Inn in Pigeon Forge!
